	Lorraine Oil on canvas 70cm x 70cm 2011 I have been working on a series of portrait paintings to see if I can capture the essence of the sitter. This is a portrait of Lorraine in her usual pensive pose.
Faces of Ghana - Octagenarian Mrs B. Oil on Canvas 80cm x 80cm 2011 This is a portrait of my friend Mrs Elizabeth Osei Bonsu who celebrated her 80th birthday on March 7th. It's also a tribute to Gustav Klimt. I tried his goldleaf approach and nearly went overboard.
	Faces of Ghana - Portrait of a Woman Oil on Canvas 85cm x 85cm 2010 This painting was done from a quick photographic sketch and completed in about a day. The lady was lost in her own thought as she squnted into the distant sun.
Goodbye News of the World Oil on canvas 85cm x 85cm 2010 I was inspired to do this still life one Sunday morning as I enjoyed my ritual coffee and Danish breakfast. This is the first in a set of historical records I'd like to work on.
	Old Woman in Marrakesh Oil on canvas 80cm x 80cm 2011 This is the 2nd in my Marrakesh series. This little old woman was sitting against the wall of the medina begging. I offered her money to take a series of photos. she was quite happy with the money but not so happy about the photography.
New York III - Al's Soup Kitchen Oil on Canvas 85cm x 85cm 2011 This is the 3rd painting of a series of 4 images created whilst I was in New York in 2008. It shows another perspective in direct marketing.
	Oranges at the Souk - Marrakesh Oil on Canvas 88cm x 85cm 2011 I spent 6 days in Marrakesh in January 2011. I have a series of images I would like to paint to record my visit. This is the first. one of the things I observed - not many women trade in the market or souks. It's virtually a male dominated activity. Orginal: Available
Gold Street - Northampton Oil on Canvas 85cm x 85cm 2010 There is something rather ernegetic about this building that fascinates me. This painting is the first of a series of Nortampton scenery. I plam to get more done in 2011. Original: SOLD. Giclee print copies on canvas available
	Waiting for the Catch Oil on canvas 85cm x 85cm 2010 This scene is taken from one of the coastal village in Ghana and shows women hanging around the beach waiting for the fishermen to return with their catch. The early bird catches the worm they say. The women in this picture are sharing a bit of gossip while they wait with their empty enamel basins.
